Good home cooking
BY SUSAN WHITE
Some of the best cooking is home
cooking, from the kitchens of homes on
farms and in towns all over our area.
Collecting recipes from good cooks,
pooling resources and selling the resulting
cookbooks is a tried and true method of
fundraising for many organizations. At the
same time local cookbooks are promoting
the use of Ontario's agricultural products.
We looked through the assortment of
area cookbooks that Rural Voice readers
sent for a few special treats to liven up
February. often a dull winter month.
