Vice-presidents elected are Bill Coleman of Kippen and Ross Procter of RRS, Brussels. The secretary -treasurer is Stan Paquette of Goderich. Directors were elected to represent the 16 townships in Huron, three from each. About $111 million of this was borrowed from the province under the tile drainage program. Henderson announces tile drainage U.C.O. guidelines elects officers Agriculture and Food Minister Lorne C. Henderson has announced guidelines for municipalities to use in reviewing and approving loan applications for tile drain- age for the 1980-81 fiscal year. Mr. Henderson said that initial drainage allocations will be announced following the Treasurer's budget in the spring. The allocations will be based on the applic- ations received over the previous three years. For the coming fiscal year, a municip- ality may apply for a reallocation of funds for tile drainage debentures based on the appiicativns rcccised the municipality prior to August 31, 1980. As in previous years, applications are to be based on not more than 75 per cent of the estimated cost of the project. For 1980-81, however, there will be a maximum loan of $200 per acre tiled. the maximum amount any one farmer may receive in loans in one year is $10,000 and the maximum cumulative loan is not to Toronto, February 20 and 21. Ontario's tile drainage program is more Huron Cattlemen's Association strongly Robert Coulthard, President, United Co-operatives of Ontario (UCO) was re-elected by acclamation for his third term of office on Dec. 12, at the co-operative's 32nd annual meeting held in Toronto. Mr. Coulthard is a beef feedlot and soybean cash crop farmer near Glencoe, in Middlesex County. Both vice-presidents and the fourth executive committee member were also returned for subsequent terms of office: Royden Bloomfield (from Ilderton) remains as first vice-president. Mr. Bloomfield is the director representing Zone 8 which encompasses the counties of Middlesex, Elgin. Oxford, Brant and part of the Region of Haldimand-Norfolk; Robert Down (from Hensall) remains as second vice-president. Mr. Down is the director representing Zone 7 which includes the counties of Huron and Perth and the Region of Waterloo. The tourth executive committee member is Ernest Miller (from Perth) who is also the director representing Group 1 which includes Zones 1, 2 and 3.
