The Rural Voice, 1980-01, Page 40Attention Perth County Pork Producers BY HANS FELDMAN, COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE In order to improve communication a subscription to the Rural Voice has been taken out on your behalf by your County Association. The Rural Voice in its monthly editions will provide space to the county organization to relay information on matters relating to the activities of the county organization and the provincial branch. This will include notices of meetings and workshops and any services available to pork producers. In addition producers will be given the opportunity to voice their individual opinions on matters relating to the industry plus any technological development that is felt to be of importance to producers. The directors voted to restrict the mailing list for The Rural , Voice to producers with an annual sale of 50 pigs and over to keep costs down and to avoid duplication as many farmers have separate registrations for different family members. The mailing list can be revised as required to make this service available to anybody interested, especially weaner producers and people starting in the industry. Your co-operation is requested in helping the association to keep the mailing list current.
