MOORE MUSEUM, 94 William St., Mooretown,
depicts rural communities of by -gone days with four
buildings open - log cabin, Victorian cottage, F.E.
Shaw Exhibition Hall and the main building.
KORTRIOHT WATERFOWL PARK, 387 Kortright
Road, Guelph, is open daily, year round, 10 a.m. to 5
p.m., a 116 -acre wildlife sanctuary and display area
with a captive flock of more than 75 species of birds.
FORT MALDEN NATIONAL HISTORIC PARK,
Amherstburg, a national historic park, the military
base was established In 1796 and was an important
defence site in the War 1812.
FANSHAWE PIONEER VILLAGE, London, open
May 3 to September 30, daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
features many pioneer homes and demonstrations of
gloneer lifestyles. Admission, S1 adults, 50 cents for
children.
ELGIN COUNTY PIONEER MUSEUM, 32 Talbot St.,
St. Thomas, Dr. Duncombe's home built in 1848, is a
memorial to the past and its traditions. Open Tuesday
to Friday, 10 to 5 p m., groups by appointment.
HURON COUNTY PIONEER MUSEUM, 110 North
St., Goderich. Open May 1st to Oct 31, daily from 9
a.m to 4:30 p.m , Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m
Exhibits include history of horsepower, antique fire
engines, 19th century dentist's office and seeding
and haying equipment.
ELDON HOUSE. 481 Ridout St., N., London, open
daily 2-5 p m The home is London's oldest private
residence, built in 1834 by John Harris Eldon House
was the centre of social life in London in the 19th
century
CENTENNIAL MUSEUM, 325 Queens Ave . London,
the exhibition Minerals. Metals and Man, to June 14,
a travelling show from the National Museum of
Natural Sciences emphasizing the importance of
minerals and metals to the Canadian economy.

Contains furniture, books, diplomas and instruments
of some of London's celebrated doctors, as well as a
doctor's office from the late 19th century period
STRATHROY MIDDLESEX MUSEUM, 84 Oxford
Street, Strathroy, features local history exhibit, open
Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p m. to 4:30
p.m. The house, built by a prominent Strathroy
businessman, contains a parlour, dining room and
bedroom furnished as they were in the late 1800's.
THE MUSEUM OF INDIAN ARCHAEOLOGY, 1600

University of Western Ontario. presents the "Inuit
Print", a collection of prints from seven Arctic

ONTARIO AGRICULTURAL MUSEUM. Milton,
opens May 11. On June 7, the Ontario Agricultural
Hall of Fame will be unveiled at 2:30 p.m. The
