an 80 -acre site with 17 buildings open to portray the
history of agriculture in the province. Demonstrations

doctor's office from the late 19th. century period.
STRATHROY MIDDLESEX MUSEUM, 84 Oxford
Street, Strathroy, features local history exhibit. open
Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m. to 4:30
p.m. The house, built by a prominent Strathroy
businessman, contains a parlour, dining room and
bedroom furnished as they were in the late 1800's
KORTRIGHT WATERFOWL PARK, 387 Kortright
Road, Guelph, is open daily, year round, 10 a.m. to 5
p.m., a 116 -acre wildlife sanctuary and display area
with a captive flock of over 75 species of birds.
UNCLE TOM'S CABIN MUSEUM, Dresden. Ontar-
io, a historic site and museum depicting the story of
American slaves who re -settled in Canada, opens
May 1st., daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., picnic ground on
the site.
FORT MALDEN NATIONAL HISTORIC PARK,
Amherstburg, a national historic park, the military
base was established in 1796 and as an important
defence site in the War of 1812.
