MEDICAL MUSEUM, University Hospital, London,
open Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday
afternoons, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment.
Contains furniture, books, diplomas and instruments
of some of London's well-known doctors, as well as a
doctor's office furnished in the late 19th. century
period.
LONDON REGIONAL CHILDREN'S MUSEUM,
London Towers, 379 Dundas St., London, presents
exhibits of particular interest to children who can
touch as well as see artifacts. Museum open Monday
to Saturday, 9a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5
p.m., admission 50 cents for children.
STRATHROY-MIDDLESEX MUSEUM, 84 Oxford
Street, Strathroy, features local history exhibits, open
Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m. to 4:30
p.m. The house, built by a prominent Strathroy
businessman, contains a parlour, dining room and
bedroom furnished as they were in the late 1800's.
SKA-NAH-DOHT INDIAN VILLAGE, R.R. 1, Mt.
Brydges, recreated prehistoric Ontario Iroquois
Village, depicting life in the area 800 to 1,000 years
ago, open during winter for cross-country skiing and
snow -shoeing, admission 50 cents.
JOHN. R. PARK HOMESTEAD, on Iler Road,
south-west of Essex, includes house, museum and
several outbuildings which re-create the 1850 lifestyle
of the Colchester area, open daily from 9:30 a.m. to
4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Call 738-2029 for

ELDON HOUSE, 481 Ridout St. N., London, open
daily 2 to 5 p.m. The home is London's oldest private
residence built in 1834 by pioneer John
Harris. Eldon House was the centre of social life in
London in the 19th century.
CENTENNIAL MUSEUM, 325 Queens Avenue,
London, to April 12, Selections from the permanent
collection of London Historical Museums, closed from
April 13 to 19, April 20, show opens titled Minerals,
Metals and Man. This is an exhibition of a large
number of mineral specimens and artifacts from the
National Museum of Natural Sciences.
ELGIN COUNTY PIONEER MUSEUM, 32 Talbot
St., St. Thomas. Dr. Duncombe's home, built in 1848,
is a memorial to the past and its traditions. Open
Tuesday to Friday, 10 to 5 p.m., Saturday and
Sunday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., groups by appointment.
LAMBTON HERITAGE MUSEUM, Hwy. 21, five
miles south of Grand Bend, open year round and
features artifacts recalling Lambton's history,
including the outstandng Fred Walden collection of
Canadian glass. Open daily.
WOODSIDE NATIONAL HISTORIC PARK, 528
Wellington St. N., Kitchener, former home of
William Lyon Mackenzie King, Canadian prime
minister during the war years, open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
