Brydges, recreated prehistoric Ontario Iroquois
Village, depicting life in the area 800 to 1,000 years
ago, open during winter for cross-country skiing and
snow -shoeing, Admission 50 cents.
STRATHROY MIDDLESEX MUSEUM, 84 Oxford
St., Strathroy, features local history exhibits, open
Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m. to 4:30
p.m. The house, built by a prominent Strathroy
businessman, contains a parlour, dining room and
bedroom furnished as they were in the late 1800.s.

Painter profiled
It's time Western Ontario took note. Bill Creighton's oil
and watercolor paintings have rapidly gained re-
cognition throughout the province and he's had a shote
in Ottawa. In April, the Squire meets the Lucknow-urea
painter and his work.
No fear of flying
There was the initial fear of takeo/f but it was soon
replaced in writer -photographer Paul Ellis' mind with
fascination for the panoramic view of Huron County
uflorded ,from an Airborne 1946 Fleet Canuck. The
plane's pilot and owner is Ross Smith of Mitchell.
Squire readers can enjoy an April ride in Smith's pet.
