Stephen. Hay. Grey. East Wawanosh and Morris. The statistics were recent- ly presented to Huron County Council by the Huron Perth Regional Assessment Office and showed that over- all. the population of Huron County grew by 553 in 1979, to a total of 56.399. Wingham dropped from 2.891 people in 1978 to 2.859 in 1979 while other towns in the county all grew during the past year. Exeter showed the highest increase in popu- lation with 136 more people. Goderich had 110 more people and the increases in Clinton and Seaforth were 23 and 14 respectively. The villages of Blyth. Brussels and Hayfield all increased by between 44 and 10 people.
