Feeding the working farmer or the family at a picnic?
Good food for outdoor living
Summer work on the farm usually keeps the busy farmer out in
his fields from morning until night. And that means he doesn't
have time to take a break and come into the house for dinner.
Rural Voice asked one of the home economists in Huron County
to come up with a simple nutritious menu that could be taken to
dad in the field.
We also asked the Perth County Home Economist to prepare a
simple nutritious lunch menu with some recipes for a family
picnic to take to the lake.
