The Rural Voice, 1978-11, Page 33Soup's
on!
As every day gets a little bit colder
people are getting ready for winter by
getting out their winter woolies, winter
boots and preparing their cars for the cold
days ahead. This month Rural Voice would
like to help readers to keep a little warmer
by giving out some recipes for homemade
soup. Rural Voice talked to Mrs. Tony Van
Klooster wife of Perth Federation of
Agriculture president Tony Van Klooster
who gave some of her family's favourite
recipes l or homemade soup.
It's hard to believe but by the time the next
copy of Rural Voice (our December issue) is
in readers' hands, Christmas will be the
number one topic in everyone's mind.
And Christmas means good food.
Do you have an especially treasured
Christmas recipe that you'd be willing to
share with Rural Voice Readers? Whether
it's for Christmas dinner, festive cookies of
candies, or anything that you make for your
family at Christmas time, send the recipe
to Rural Voice, Box 10, Blyth by Friday,
November 17.
