"My personal opinion is that there will
be a review of the policy."
He thought that proposed policy changes
would probably be brought to the OFA
Convention in November.
He said personally he was in favour of
the OFA position and that he thought it
was in the best interests of the farmer.
George Underwood of Wingham said,
"I'm thrilled that the OFA has gone along
to reconsider the proposal."
Of Mr. McKcough's shelving the
proposals Mr. Underwood said. "It did
give the OFA breathing time to reconsider
reasons to help support the Huron County
resolution.
He thought that one of the reasons the
treasurer had shelved the project was a
question that had been brought up at some
of the F. of A. meetings: "Where is the
5400 million coming from" to pay for the
tax exempt land?
Jim McIntosh. of Tuckersmith. director
for east central Huron was appointed as
one member of the committer to make new

"From talking with other farmers nir

the province.
