Arthur Flwzn an Andrew
Arthur Andrew of 27 Cardigan Street,
Guelph, died in Guelph General Hospital, on
Tuesday, May 10, 1969 at the age of 76.
Mr. Andrew was retired, having been
employed for 25 years at Spruce Falls
Power and Paper Co., Ltd., in Kapuskasing.
He was a member of the Dublin Street
United Church in Guelph and of the Old
Light Masonic Lodge -23-184. He was an ar-
dent sports fan and participated in many
sports including baseball, badminton, bowl-
ing and .golf.
Mr. Andrew was born in Lucknow on
August 25, 1912 to the late George Andrew
and Mary WeVter.
On May 17, 1956 he married Marjorie
Roberts of Kapuskasing, who survives him.
He is also survived by a brother Alex An-
drew of Lucknow.
Mr. Andrew was predeceased by two
brothers, William and Robert and,a sister,
Flora.
Visitation was at the MacKenzie and
McCreath Funeral Horne, Lucknow where
a Masonic service was held. The funeral
was conducted by Rev. G. MacFarlane on
May 13, with Donalda Moffat as organist.
Flower bearers were Adella Andrew and
Caroline Andrew.
Pallbearers were nephews, Bill, John,
Stepl_era,-. Bob. Tom and Allan Andrew._
Interment was in Greenhill Cemetery,
Lucknow.

FERN ILA STEWART
After a lengthy illness, Fern Da Stewart
peacefully passed away in Kincardine and
District General Hospital on Sunday, April
30, 1989 in her 94th year.
She was born in Black River, Michigan.
She married the late Thomas Stewart on
December 25, 1919 in Briercrest, Saskat-
chewan. He predeceased her on January 1,
1984.
She was predeceased by a daughter Ila
Wilkie on January 25, 1985, and also by a
son Gerald on September 4, 1988.
Of her 11 children, she leaves to mourn
her passing, , Ellen (Mrs. Ken Rowe) of
Kincardine, John and his wife Rosemary
of Crediton, Eva (Mrs. Ian MCPherson) of
Teeswater, Ernest at home, Mabel Cor-
nish of Winnipeg, Alex and ,wife Lorina of
Orangeville, Willy (Mrs. Ron Stanley) of
Kinloss, Harold and wife Lila of Bervie,
and Russell and his wife Gloria of Trenton.
She also leaves 38 grandchildren, 44
great-grandchildren, all of whom have
many pleasant memories of Grandma.
She is also survived by one sister Mrs.
Gladys Nattress of Spencer, Iowa.
She loved her flowers and was a member
of the Ripley Horticultural Society and
was also a member of the United Church.
She was a gracious host in her home and
there was always time and- room for one -
more to sit at her table. Her blessed smile
and loving ways will always be cherished.
The funeral was conducted May 2, 1989
at 2 p.m. at the Davey-Linklater Funeral
Home, Kincardine, with Rev. Dr. Norman
Perry officiating. Norm Dunsmoor
beautifully sang "The Old Rugged Cross'
and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus,"
accompanied by Mrs. Gerry 'MacLeod as
organist.
Pallbearers were six grandsons Bill
Stanley, Brien Stewart, Randal Goessell,.
,Jeffery Stewart, Kenneth Stewart and
Stewart McPherson.
Flowerbearers were six granddaughters
Angela Stewart, Debbie Stanley, Patti
White, Melaney Martin, Jackie McPher-
son and Dianne Faubert.
Interment in Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Chronic Care
equipment at the Kincardine and District
General Hospital and/or Alzheimer
research would be appreciated as expres-
sions of sympathy.

much for all of us."
