The Wednesday night mixed bowling
league ended their season with a banquet on
Saturday evening.
Presentations were made to the Squirrels
who were the season champs and the
Wolverines, the playoff champs.
Season award winners were Pat Liv-
ingston and Gerald Rhody, high average;
Marg Hackett and Hary Livingston, high tri-
ple ; Mary Phillips and Steve Van Osch, high
singles; Jackie McNay and Brian Van Osch,
high triple with handicap; Lucy Miller,
David Elliott and Peter Van I high
single with handicap; Kathy Hackett and
Ian Hackett, most improved new bowlers;
Nancy Swan and D.A. Hackett, most im-
proved bowlers over last year.
Playoff award winners were Marie Scott
and Steve Carvell, high triple; Merle Rhody
and Norm Bolt, high singles.
Games over 300 - Gerald Rhody three,
Harvey Livingston, Steve Van 0Sch, Mary
Phillips and Lucy Miller, one each.
The executive for next season is Helen
Van Osch, president; Brenda Kemp,
treasurer and Bev Beyersbergen, secretary.

South Kinloss WMS meeting on motherhood
Hostess to the South Kinloss Women's
Missionary Society was Ann MacDougall at
her home. There was a large crowd in at-
tendance, 24 members and three guests to
enjoy the Mothers' Day program, prepared
by directors, Marilyn Maclntyre, Margaret
deBoer and Eva Burt.
President, Wilma Clarkewelcomed all by
reading a poem entitled, Mother. Many
delightful bynms intersperced the evening
inspired .by motherhood.
The minutes, treasurer's report and
various other business matters were dealt
with.
A lovely banner commemorating W.M.S.
75th Anniversary, to be held in London, was
made and presented to the group by Ruth
Bell and Kathy Howald.
The Ripley Presbyterial will be held May
8 and attended by delegates Elizabeth
Dickie and Blanche Needham.

ble Study based on Timothy's grandmother,
Lois and his mother, Eunice and the great
influence they had on his life.
Prayer circle included 'Elizabeth Dickie,
Marion Campbell and Margaret Collyer.
The offering was followed by the offertory
prayer given by Nancy MacIntyre.
AlargaretKeith gave a reading, Ministry
of Mothering.
Mission Study of African people and their
unfair lot was -skillfully undertaken by
Marilyn Maclntyre.
Eva Burt gave the courtesy remarks
responded to by Ann MacDougall. Mary
Buckton lead in the closing prayer.
The next meeting will be held at the
church June 6, hosted by Elizabeth Dickie.
