buildin permits
At the May 2nd meeting of West
Wawanosh Council, approval was,given for
seven building permits to be issued in-
cluding, Steve Polusa for a mobile home;
Brian Schultz, garage; Jacob Shetler,
house; Shawn Watson, storage shed ; Torn
Armstrong, woodshed; Tom `Pegg, house
and Cecil Cranston for a storage shed.
Council had no objectiontothe severance
application of CLifford Kilpatrick ,and had
no:comment to makeon that of Eric Moore
of Colborne Township.
Pannell Kerr MacGillivray, Listowel will
be requested to provide a consultant to
prepare a PayEquity Plan for the township,
as required by the statute.
The quote of Pollard Highway Products
for supplying and applying, liquid calcium
chloride for the 1989 season at $214.39 per
flake tone equivalent is hereby accepted.
The 'Ministry of Transportation will be
notified 'byletter of the daigerous condition
of the concrete culvert on concession road
4 -5, for which supplemental fundshad been
requested and have been denied.
Tenders will be called for a contractor to
properly -prime and paint the township
garage roof.
Discussion on purchasing a sign for the
landfill site, indicatingthe name of the site,
hours and .that no scavenging is allowed
resulted in the clerk being authorized to
order such a -sign.
The 1989 budget for the township's own re-
quired expenditures, as prepared by the .
treasurer was accepted.
