(Pat Livingston photo) On Jan. 27 evening the .large barn of John McIntosh on Highway 86, west of Lucknow was leveled by fire. :The fire departments from Ripley and Lucknow were on the scene to save the small barn that was -right near the main barn. The Lucknow fire ,depariment remained at the scene for about three hours, while the Ripley fire fighters were on the scene for some time after midnight. A number of neighbours were on the scene with their coffee makers, sand- wiches, cups etc. to serve the firemen refreshments .while on the job. Colin MacLennan of Agincourt visited on Wednesday with his grandmother and aunt, Rhetta and Marion MacLennan. Mrs. Margie (Finlay) MacDonald has been spending a few .days in London with Dorothy (D.A.) MacLennan and Peggy Heffernan. Saturday morning visitors with Kae, James and Cecil Webster were Jack and Marion Smith of Clinton. Allan, Janet andweeson Jeffery Steven Peck of Wallaceberg visited on the weekend with Charlie and Mayme Wilkins On Sunday a number of the family had their dinner with Stella.and Lloyd Irwin of Kinloss township.
