Tis The Season To Be Jolly. Christmas
Is ... trying to explain to a bright four-year-
old how it's possible to pass six Santa
Clauses in one block.
Christmas Is ... When you can't walk into
the living room for all the toys, and your
kids say, "Is that ALL?"
Lancers back winning
Lucknow Intermediates
The Lucknow Lancers got back into the
win column over the weekend as they
downed Durham 4 - 3 in a game played m
Lucknow Sunday evening. The win comes
on the heels of an 11 - 4 loss to Kincardine
and a 6 - 5 loss at the hands of 'the Owen
Sound squad.
. In the game played here Sunday, the
Lancers opened the scoring early in the
first period when Dave Gibson put one past
the Durham netminder. Dan Landry's first
goal of the season gave the Lancers a 2 - 0
lead but Durham stormed back to get on
the scoreboard and cut that lead in half.
Scott Gibson found the mark to give the
Lancers back their two goal lead just
S PORTS
before the teams headed for the dressing
rooms.
Durham came out of the dressing room
inspired to score the only goal of the se-
cond period and to tie the game late in the
third. With less than two minutes left to
play in the game, Lucknow's own Art
Clark slapped home the winner to hand
Durham their first defeat of the season.
The Lucknow Lancers hope to continue
their winning ways as they travel to
Teeswater on Friday and host Kincardine
here Sunday. Sunday's game starts at 7:30
p.m.
