Lots of changes itoticed at Seniors' Centre
Since our last article a few changes have
taken place at the centre. At the end of
August we said goodbye and good luck to
our summer student Heather MacKenzie.
Heather is heading to school in Sarnia
where she is enrolled in Social Services at
Lambton College. We wish Heather the
best of luck in all future endeavours.
Maim activities have been planned for
the month of September. Dunn. the first
week we held a baby shower for Lie newest
member of the day ci 'tre Joelle, daughter
of our clerk/bookkeeper Cathy Ritsema.
During the third week of September we
will be making shelves under the direction
of two of our dedicated volunteers Wes

Thursday, November 24. The last week of
September we will be busy doing other
crafts for the upcoming sale.
The Clinton Day Centre will be visiting
September 22.
Entertainment will be provided by Earl
and Martha Heywood from Wingham in
the afternoon.
Hewitt Therapy will be having a fashion
sale at the centre on September 26. A
fashion show will be presented at 1:30 p.m.
Comfort Clothing is fashion for seniors,
designed for fit, easy care and to meet the
needs of the wearer. Everyone is welcome
to come browse and shop for fall and
winter fashions.
On Sat. Sept. 17 we will be holding our
Annual fund-raising dance at the Brussels
Community Centre from 9 p.m. till 1 a.m.
Music by the Entertainers and lunch will
be provided. Tickets are six dollars each
and can be purchased by calling the centre
at 357 -1440 or 357 -1445 Monday to Friday.
Our next two foot clinics are Sept. 21 and
Oct. 6. Please call the centre in advance
for an appointment.
