The market at Brussels Stockyards trad-
ed $2. higher on the choice steers and
heifers with the overfinished cattle being
sharply discounted. Cows traded $2. higher
and pigs sold under pressure. There were
385 cattle, 523 pigs and 198 sheep, lambs
and goats on offer.
Choice Steers - 87.00 to 89.00 with sales to
92.00
Good Steers - 83.00 to 86.00
A steer consigned by Jack Shiell of RR 3,
Wingham, weighing 13001b. sold for 90.50,
with his total lot of seventeen steers
averaging 1242 lb. selling for an average
price of 88.51.
Fourteen steers consigned by Maple
Emblem Farms of RR 1 Dungannon,
averaging 1182 ib., sold for an overall price
of 88.59, with sales to 89.25.
Six steers consigned by Stam Farms of
RR 4, Kincardine, averaging 13221b., sold
for an overall price of 85.42, and they had
sales to 87.50.
Choice Exotic Heifers - 87.00 to 90.00 with
sales to 90,25.

Get new air conditioner
The Drop In Centre again proved that an
enjoyable evening can be had playing cards
in a cool atmosphere.
Another plus is that an air conditioner is
being installed this week.
The high scorer for the men was Andy
Scott and the low was Harry Wall.
The high scorer for the ladies was Stella
Tillbrook and the low as Mary Lavis.
Stella Tillbrook received the prize for
shoots.
The Drop In Centre hopes to have the
doors open at 7 p.m. all summer for the card
sharks. Come and share the fun.
