are happy to announce the birth of a new
son, James Andrew, on June 14, 1988 at the
Wingham and District Hospital. Wee
James weighed in at 7 lbs., 2 ozs. at his
birth.
IRWIN - Glenn and Maryann, RR1 Wrox-
eter, are pleased to announce the safe ar-
rival of their daughter, Janet Winifred, on
June 16, 1988. Weighing in at 8 lbs., 2 ozs. at
her birth at the Wingham and District
Hospital, Janet is a sister for Ellie. Proud
grandparents are Mrs. Jean Irwin of
Wingham and Mrs. Claudine Schleuter of
Waterloo. Great grandparents include
Mrs. Lyla Treleavhn, Wingham, and Mr,
and Mrs. Clarence Irwin of Lucknow.
HAYS - Joan, Terry and Richard welcome
with love their new family member, Den-
nis Andrew. He arrived June 21, 1988, at
Listowel Memorial Hospital, weighing 8

DONALDSON Steve and Mary of
Teeswater were presented with a new son,
Michael Bain, on June 13, 1988 at the
Wingham and District Hospital. A little
brother for Curtis, Michael weighed in at 7
lbs., 13 ozs. at his birth.
NABROTZKY - Nephi and Loraine of
Chepstow are delighted to announce the
arrival of a new daughter, Leanne Cassan-
dra, on June 16, 1988 at the Wingham and
District Hospital. Leanne, at 6lbs., 4 ozs.,
is a new sister for Amanda.
LCPS bike rodeo
The Lucknow and District Kinsmen
Club, in conjuntion with the Walkerton
Detachment of the Ontario Provincial
Police, once again sponsored the annual
Bicycle Safety and Awarness Program at
the Lucknow Central Public School last
week.
This annual event includes a bicycle in-
spection as well as a series of four tests in-
volving rider skills. The students are ask-
ed to display balance and agility on their
cycles as well as their knowledge of road
safety rules.
Grades One to Eight competed for
trophies provided by the Kinsmen Club.
This year's winners included Sherri
Nicholson and Mathew Eadie in the Junior
Division; Heather Askes and Andrew
Cleland in the Intermediate Division; and
Jennifer MacKinnon and Clint Murray in
the Senior Division.
Clint was the only participant in the en-
tire school to get a perfect score in each
section of the test.
The Kinsmen would like to thank the
OPP and the staff of the Lucknow School
for their assistance in this very important
safety program.
Webster
Clan
gathers
The' Webster Clan gathered Sunday,
June 19th at Brookside School for their reu-
nion picnic. There were about forty family
members in attendance.
Stephen and Anne Andrew conducted a
variety of games and races for all the
children present. Mrs. Mervyn Lobb show-
ed slides and told of the people and places
she had seen in Ireland which was very
much enjoyed by all.
The ladies served a delicious lunch at
which time Stephen Andrew welcomed all
to the picnic.
The names of all members who had
passed away in the last two years were
read and a minute's silence was observed
in their memory; Elsie McKinley, Jim
Hart, Dave MacKenzie, Watt Webster,
Clara Webster.
Piano, solos were provided by Jordan,
Adella, Shawna, Warren and Carolyn
Andrew.
The business portion of the picnic follow-
ed and resulted in an election of officers
for 1990: Stephen Andrew, president;
Allan Andrew, assistant; Bernadean Rit-
chie, secretary; Alex Andrew, treasurer;
Elsie Irvin and Margery Huether,
memoriam.
It was decided to hold next year's picnic
on the third Sunday in June.
All present enjoyed an afternoon of
special events and renewed friendships.
Grandmothers' meeting of Trinity
, Trinity UCW held their grandmothers' '
meeting at the home of Annabelle Arm-
strong. Elizabeth Irvin opened the meeting
with a poem Learn to Bear.
Joan,Dieroff and Loreen Alton were in
charge of devotions with the theme being
How Beautiful Upon the Mountains.
The scripture lesson was from Romans
12:16-18 and Psalm 4:8. Various hymns
were sung and the devotions closed with
prayer.

call, with a picture or article of their
grandmother's. There were seven -grand-
mothers and two children in attendance.
Isobel Kilpatrick and Dora Alton gave
readings.
Brenda Phillips presented a life
Membership pin to Dolly Menary on behalf
of the society. Bell Hackett conducted the
Bible Study.
The business portion of the meeting
dealt with the past minutes, Five Oaks, the
Garden party and layettes.
Annabelle Armstrong and Bell Hackett
attended the World Outreach at Camp
Bimini on June 14.
The next meeting is at Anne Andrews' on
July 14.
The meeting came to a close with a
hymn and lunch being served.
