One great Mom
Thirteen -year-old Jennifer MacKinnon
thinks her Mom is the greatest and we're
sure you'll agree when you read her sub-
mission below.
Jennifer has two brothers, Shane, 11,
and Johnathan, 7. They live in Kinloss
Township where their father, Dave, farms.
The greatest Mom, Cathy, is employed at
the Lucknow Village Market.
Jennifer won top spot in the Sentinel's
recent Mother's Day contest with this
entry:
Why My Mom is the Greatest
My Mom is the greatest because she
cares for me and protects me. She always
has a smile on her face and she makes me
smile.
Mom buys me things and she makes
great meals! But overall, my Mom is the
greatest because she loves me and I love
her too.
The Sentinel thanks all the kids who sent
in submissions to the contest. The choices
were very difficult as everyone did such a
good job.
