The Christmas meeting of the Lucknow Presbyterian WMS com- menced with a bountiful pot 'buck dinner in the church fellowship hall on Dec- 9. Norma Raynard was in charge of the program and led in the. Worship service which was found. in the. Glad Tidings. She was assisted with different readings being taken by Mildred Lorre, Joyce Johnstone, Shirley. Hawthorne, Joanne Lennips . ` and Ivonne Congram. Rev. Peggy Kinsman led in the Christmas Message and Joseph's Story and Donalda Moffat accompa- . hied thecarols• sui:ig throughout the service. The roilcall was answeredwith everyone giving . a stamped. Christmas Card to be sent to a shut-in. President . Shirley Hawthorne' conducted the business portion of the meeting, There was some discussion as to whether the meetings could `be the first or second Wednesday 'Of the month but it was decided to continue with• ' the second Wednesday with some of the summer meetings in the evening. Thank -you ,letters were read from the Lyonsfami- ly, the Brooks family and Celia Aitchison. On Dec. 20 the final. meeting for the 125th anniversary, of the church will be held when there will be a time capsule filled with various items and sealed for future refer- ences. Thanks was extended to Shirley Hawthorne for her efforts throughout the year and Rev.
