Dear editor:
Heaven help me, I'm a
knowledge freak. 1 love
research and 1 really do
enjoy running a fact to the
ground. Hence .when the
Bill 160 smke' began to
swirl, I did something hor- '
rendous; I read the bill -
all 186 pages' (riveting
stuff!).
Out of respect for those
concerned with.education
and curious about Bill

the . foll`owing: The.

The plan to reduce

. RESULT IN MORE
TEACHER TIME WITH
STUDENTS. Students
will still have the same
number of' classes per day.
It results in a heavier
'workload for teachers,
who will have less time to
help individual students
who .need 'help, 'and less
time for clubs, sports, and
other 'extras." That means
LESS teacher time with
students.
The reference to class

The other really impor-

:Dear editor:.'
After reading the article
in this weeks ,Lucknow
Sentinel by David Emslie
entitled "Radar Museum
Display" I felt it, necessary
to'ecpress my concern, To
have a radar .museum -dis-
play and the hope of a
museum in .the,
future iii.`Vanastra.is great.
Vanastra,' just south of
Clinton, was the former
Radar Training School
' during W.W.II. Thelargest
one in North America, and
:had airmen stationed there
from the United States, the
U.K:, as well as •Canada
I feel it hard to get
excited 'about donating to.
this cause now. 'I' feel one
project should be complet-
ped from donations before
another has begun.
.A number.of'years'ago,
my late husband, who was
one of the many 'airmen
who took his radar course
at C.F,B." Clinton, was
concerned about there, not
being anything at the for -

what it had been. ` He
thought if nothing else

on this, a Radar Reunion,

Vanastra, .August 26 - '28,'

this, much work was done
to the grounds, including
flower beds on either side
.of the gates, which were

When the gates were dedi-
