Artists wanted to showcase
talents at Bruce show
Bruce county artists are being sought.
to showcase their talents at the 17th
annual Bruce County Art Show and
Competition, aliening Aug. I and running
until Sept. 1 at the 'Bruce •County
..Museum and Archives..• •
The competition is open to all artists
residing in Bruce county and the subject
matter of the artwork is to be represent&
• tive of the county.
In Septetriher,"the pieces will be
placed on permanent exhibit in one of the
county -owned buildings. 'The three win-
ning entries will become the permanent
property of the County of Bruce.
Prizes will be awarded to the three
artists and an honorable mention will be
made at the discretion: of the judges. A
public choice award in the amount of $50
will•also be awarded.
Entries will be accepted from 1 to 4
p.m. July 27 to 29. For more information
call the Museum at. 797-2086.
