E. T. comes for Christmas, the elves get icicle fever and Rudolph runs away
llckle Fever
One day up at the far
North Pole where Santa and
his elves live all you could
see were icicles. You see the
elves loved icicles. They
were mad about them so
they went and ate them.
That night all the little
elves could not eat their
supper. So they were all sent
to bed. That night one of the
elves got sick and so did ail
the other elves. Now there
were no elves to make toys.
And there were only five
more days until Christmas.
Santa finally knew what
was wrong with, them. They
had icicle fever. The next day
Santa had to go to another
country and get some medic-
ine.
Then Santa came back and
gave them the medicine but
something went wrong. It
didn't work. Mrs. Santa
didn't know what to do
because it was three more
days until Christmas. There
wasn't much more time left.
Very soon Santa's doctor
came to see the elves. He
checked their temperatures
and said it was a dum cold.
They got so many icicles and
they weren't dressed warm-
ly. So the doctor gave them
some cough syrup and got
them to work on the toys.
They soon were all finish-
ed the toys and got them into
the big sock and Santa was
soon off into the sky!

door. The creature said,
"I'm E.T. I came for Christ-
mas."
I said, "Please come in,"
We sat down. 1 started
yawning.
i asked E.T. if he was
tired. He said, "Yes." So 1
told him he could sleep on
the couch.
In the morning everyone
was awake. We opened our
presents. 1 asked my parents
if E.T. could stay. They said,
"Yes, but only he has to go
home on December 31st. "
When that day came we all
said. "Bye" and we told him
to come back next year. He
said he would.

The Elves don't want to work
The night before Christ-
mas, the elves didn't want to
work. But Santa wanted the
elves and brownies to work.
They went to Santa and said
we have worked for six years,
and we are tired of it. We
want a break, they said. So
off they went to play.
But elves, don't go away, I
need you. Come back. But
the elves and the brownies
just said goodbye, Santa.
Oh I have a fudge maker
and maybe that will get the
elves to work fast. Only if 1
just could find the fudge
maker. Hey 1 haven't looked
in my closet yet so 1 have to
go and look in my closet. 1
might find it there.
Oh 1 think I found it. 1 just
saw my hat that is white. But
i have to find that fudge
maker. What is that. Oh that
is my sack. But 1 want my
fudge maker. i have to go
and look again. 1 hope 1 will
find it before Christmas
night and tomorrow night is
Christmas. I have to get the
elves and brownies to work_
Only if I could find that fudge
maker. I'm going to look in
my bedroom first. I'm going

Rudolph Rants Away
One Christmas Eve Santa
was getting ready for Christ-
mas. He told his elves to go
feed the reindeer. So they
did what Santa said. Grumpy
Elf fed Dasher. Chief Elf fed
Dancer. Jolly Elf fed Pran-
cer. Handy Elf fed Vixen.
Cutey Elf fed Comet. Santa
Elf fed Cupid. Lazy Elf fed
Donner. Clumpsy Elf fed
Blitzen.
All of the elves were
supposed to feed Rudolph.
But Rudolph was gone!
"Oh no," cried the elves!
"We'd better tell Santa,"
motioned Chief Eff,
"Santa! Santa!," cried the
elves! "Rudolph's gone!"
Go find him then," cried
Santa!
"Yes sir," replied Chief
Elf.
So they started looting.
Here are some places they
looked. They looked in San-
ta's boot. No Rudolph there.
They looked in Santa's
Christmas bag. No Rudolph
there.
"it's no use. Let's go tell
Santa," ordered Chief Elf.
"Rudolph is nowhere to be
seen," said Lazy Elf sleepily
to Santa.
"1 guess Christmas will
have to be cancelled," re-
plied a disappointed Santa.
Suddenly they saw a red
glow in the dark. It was
Rudolph! Rudolph the red
nosed reindeer!
"1 guess Christmas won't
have to be cancelled after
all," replied Santa. "We
sure had a hard day." Merry
Christmas everyone!
