Grade 8, room 12, Mr. Cameron's class had hot dogs on Friday, September 9 and also on Friday, September 30. Miss Mathers is substituting at Brookside Public School this week teaching Mrs. Graham's grade 4 class while Mrs. Graham is ill. On September 27 Tanya Lohse brought four baby mice to room 6. The children in this class enjoyed having the mice. Mrs. Carroll's class have a gerbil called Scamp. Her class is doing a unit on Colour this month using the Activity Box on colour from the Board Office, and using many other Trinity 4-H club exercise By Donna Bayeux, The second meeting of the Trinity 4-H Club was held on September 10 at the home of leader, Mary Lou Raynard. Roll was answered by eight members. The information was read by different members with topics including exercise, energy and calories. Members then began with an exercise program called the Health Hustle which is in our books to follow. Jogging followed this and we were then served a delicious snack by Mrs. Raynard. Elect executive Lucknow CGIT started fall meetings with a cook -out at Donalda Thompson's cottage at Lake Huron. Eight new members, Vickie Owen, Amy Gingrich, Becky Ackert, Jackie Wilson, Debbie Nicholson,. Sherry Murray. Charlene and Colleen Conley and new leader, Bonnie Ackert were welcomed. New members are studying about CGIT and the Purpose. The other groups are doing the study, Jesus Christ: The life of the world. Election of officers included: Julie Davies for president; Dianne Wilson for vice-pres- ident; Carol Ferguson for'secretary; Donalda Thompson for treasurer and Heather Priestap will keep up the scrapbook. Learn heir care By Cindy Robson On September 26 Dungannon N2 4-8 club met at the United Church. The members' mothers were invited to hear guest speaker Delores Cross of Luckriow's, Cut and Curl. Each of the members and their leaders found out what shape their face was. Delores told what style of hair went with each face. She gave many helpful hints on how many times to wash and condition your hair. also how often to get a perm. Afterwards lunch was served and the mothers had a chance to talk to Delores.
