Beatrice Armstrong Miss Beatrice Armstrong passed away at the Dearness Nursing Home in London on Sunday, June 19, 1983 in her 89th year. She was the daughter of the late William and Celia Armstrong formerly of Luck - now. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Rested at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Interment Greenhill Cemetery, Luck - now. The officiating clergyman was Rev. Warren McDougall of Lucknow United Church. Joseph Radcliffe Murray Joseph Radcliffe Murray of Havelock Street, Lucknow died on June 14, 1983 at Wingham and District Hos- pital in his 87th year. A farmer in West Wawa - nosh Township until his retirement in 1972, he was a member of Lucknow Presby- terian Church and an elder of the Kirk Session of the Lucknow Presbyterian Church. He was born in West Wawanosh Township on December 15, 1896, a son of the late Donald B. Murray and the late Marian Rad- cliffe, both of West Wawa - nosh Township. He married Frances E. Reid, Ashfield Township on June 27, 1931 at the home of the bride's parents. He is survived by his wife, a son, Donald Reid Murray, Lucknow and a daughter, Norma, Mrs. Bruce Raynard of West Wawanosh Town- ship. Allison Ramsey of Lucknow Presbyterian Church, con- ducted the service. Flower bearers were grandchildren, Brock, Mar- ian and Mae Raynard and Marlene Murray. Grandsons, Allan Murray, Reid Murray, Glenn Rayn- ard, Steven Hackett and cousins Don Cameron and Alvin Thompson were pall- bearers. Burial followed in Green- hill Cemetery, Lucknow.
