Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gaunt, Jennifer and Graeme of Chatham spent the week- end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Purdon. On Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Beecroft and Karen, and Hugh Sinnamon attended the Sinnamon - Nethercott wedding at At- wood United Church. The reception was held at Alma Memorial Community Cen- tre. Saturday a Beaveree was held at Benmiller Conserva- tion Park. Ryan and Jarret Craig from here attended. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Irwin of Lucknow visited with Faye Irwin on Sunday at Stratford Hospital. 'Congratulations to all the grade 13 pupils who passed and will graduate. Sunday guests at the anni- versary service at the United Church with Agnes Farrier were Rev. and Mrs. Bill Henderson, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie MacDonald and Mr. and Mrs. Art Burrows. We are pleased to report that George Lubbers has improved and expects to be back to work this week. Kinlough A.C.W. The June meeting of the Kinlough Anglican Church Women was held on Thurs- day at the home of Mrs. Midford Wall. The president, Mrs. Del- bert Hedley, was in charge and the meeting opened with a hymn and prayers. Mrs. Ronald Thacker read the minutes. Plans were made for the annual cleaning of the church, also the church grounds. One of the mem- bers volunteered to paint the church steps. Get well cards were signed. It was interesting to see earlier pictures of those present with the changes of the years in hair styling, clothing and even to high buttoned boots. The convener, Agnes Hod- gins, had planned a splendid program. Edna Boyle read the scripture and also gave the report of the South Saug- een Deanery meeting which was held at St. Paul's Church, Ripley on June 7. In keeping with the theme, Faith, Agnes Hodgins, Mrs. Ronald Thacker, Mrs, Del- bert Hedley and Mrs. Mid - ford Wall, each took part. May Boyle led in a hymn sing. Others who helped with the second part of the meeting were Mrs. Roy Col- lins, Mrs. David Haldenby and Mrs. Ed Green. Mrs. Hodgins closed with the prayer of St. Francis and gave the courtesies.
