Visit Purple Grove
from Alberta
Janet and Jack Farrell
took Kathy and Al, Gary,
Laura and family to the air-
port last week and this week
for them to return home to
their homes in Fort McMur-
ray and in Edmonton.
Susan and Courtney
McDonald were up from
London Sunday. Jack and
Susan visited Mr. and Mrs.
Don McDonald and family of
Kincardine on Sunday even-
ing. Jack and Janet visited
Glen Fraser in hospital in
Richmond Hill this week.
Ripley School Open House
was held Wednesday even-
ing and many from the
Grove attended.
Gladys Arnold is home

Don and Anne McCosh
spent Sunday with Mrs.
Gladys Mason.
Robbie and Rodney Sutton
and Cindy Emmerton at-
tended lchthus 83, in
Wilmore, Kentucky. They
left Friday morning, return-
ed home late Sunday even-
ing. They enjoyed their trip
despite the terrible rain they
are receiving down thee,
Sandra Reid has finished
her year at Fanshawe as a
Dental Assistant. She will be
starting her work as a Den-
tal Assistant the end of July.
Dart club ends season
The Lucknow Legion Dart
Club held their banquet on
April 30, 1983.
Bob Cranston received a
trophy for most starts and
Wayne Cranston received a
trophy for most finishes.
Tom Johnstone was the
winner of a trophy for most
combined points.
Koen Van Dijk received
the trophy for the highest
score of 160 points.
The Turkeys won the seas-
on trophy and team members
were Anna Johnstone,
Wayne Cranston, Charlie
McQuillin, George Ander-
son, Darryl Wisser and Ken
Johnstone.
The Peacocks won the
playoff trophy and team
members were Colleen Eedy,
Dan Londry, Donald Mac1n-
tyre, Koen Van Dijk and
Doug Johnston.
Election of officers follow-
ed and Doug Tiffin was
elected as president of the
1983-1984 season. Secretary
will be Ethel Clark and
treasurer George Anderson
with Anna Johnstone as
assistant treasurer.

To cut down on travelling
distance the Lucknow Legion
Easthall team has entered
their team in the Bluewater
Fast Hall League consisting
of teams from Wingham,
Teeswater, Helmore, Chep-
stow, Clifford, Chesley and
Palmerston.
This is a highly compe-
titive league as imports are
allowed. This should make
for some very fine ball The
team hopes their fan support
will continue.
