The Lucknow Women's
Institute held their annual
meeting in the Institute
Rooms on Tuesday, April 12.
Twenty-four members sat
down to a delicious pot luck
dinner.
The roll call was answered
by the payment of fees for
the new year. Four members
were presented with a small

Fire destroyed the barn on
the farm of Ian Thomas,
concession 6, Kinloss Town-
ship around midnight Mon-
day. Approximately 100 pigs,
farm machinery and seed
grain were lost in the blaze,
Teeswater fire department
answered the call and spray-
ed water on the house to
prevent the fire from spread-
ing.
Visitors through last week
with Lillian Young were Mr.
and Mrs. Wesley Young of
Lucknow. Mr. and Mrs, Ed
Wightman of Belgrave and
Mr, and Mrs. Donald Young,
Kevin and Jessica of Thorn-
hill.
