Amy Falconer celebrates her sixth birthday at party

A birthday party was held
for Amy r"atroner to cele-
brate her sixth birthday at
the home of her parents. Mr.
and Mrs. Man L'alconer,
Tony and Timmy fon Saturday
evening. Present were Mr.
and Mrs. Wallace Milligan,
Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Pat -
totter, Mr. and Mrs. Angus
Calcfoner, Mr. and Mrs.
Wesley Tiffin and her gtr'at
grandmother, Cassie Mow -
The grade 1 class at
Lucknow Central Public
School are spending three
days at the Outdoor Reefed -
tion Centre at Marton. Kim
Laidlaw, Michael Bradley,
Karen Pickard and 'Tony Fal-
coner of Whitechurch are
participating.
Later in the week Tony
falconer, Brian Ross and
Karen PiAard of White-
church, who won the Luck -
now school science fair, will
attend the regional srience
fair in Southampton.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rantoul
visited !Friday to Sunday with
relatives in Kitchener. Ott
Saturday they accompanied
Mr. and Mrs. Campbell and
Heather to Toronto and
attended the R. V. Show at
the C.N.E. grounds.
Murray Gaunt of Wing -
ham had charge of the ser-
vices in the United Church fon
Sunday. This Sunday Rev.
Picket of Goderich will be in
charge of the service.
Quite a few from here
attended the Maple Syrup
Festival at Beltnore on the
weekend.
Mrs. • Joe Ducharme of
Goderich visited with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Limy
Laidlaw on Friday.

The Anglican Church Wo-
men met on Thursday after-
noon at the home of Agnes
Hodgins. In the absence of
the president, the vice-pres-
ident, Mrs. Roy Collins pres-
ided and opened with a
poem.

thing for the church kitchen
which was well responded to.
The secretary -treasurer,
Mrs. Ronald Thacker read
the minutes of the previous
meeting and also told about
the two thankofferings, Kin-
loss C.C.W. and Lucknow
A.C.W. which some of the
members attended.
The program conveners,
Mrs. David Haldenby and
Mrs. Midford Wall then took
charge, taking as their
theme, Resurrection and the
New Life of Spring. Mrs.
Midford Wall gave a splen-
did meditation on the topic
closing with prayer.
Mrs. David Haldenby gave
too suitable readings. May
Boyle led in a sacred sing
along and Mrs. Eric Thacker
read the poem, The Daffo-
dils. Others taking part in
keeping with the theme
were, Mrs. M. Wall, Mrs.
Roy Collins, Mrs. Ronald
Thacker and Agnes Hodgins.
At this time Karah Wall
and Lucas Thacker, assisted
by the ladies sang Happy
Birthday to Natasha Cassidy
on the occasion of her fourth
birthday.
Mrs. David Haldenby gave
the closing prayer and the
courtesies,
pot luck supper on Friday
last.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Nichol-
son visited at Dearborn,
Michigan with Mr. and Mrs.
Truman Filiinger. Lois Nich-
olson is with Mr. and Mrs.
Mel King at Mississauga.
