Commercialism has changed the life style of the islanders, and their education is very brief as it is not paid for by the government. They depend on the oceans for food and travel, and with the nuclear dumping and testing in the ocean, it means a loss of their livelihood. They live in great fear of the submarines and ships loaded with missiles travelling through their waters and the nuclear testing that is being done, Tourism is changing the natives ideas of values.
