Heidi Jaekl from Bramp- ton is spending 21 months with Francis and Irene Boyle. She is a milk tester with DHIC and is completing a co-op work term at Guelph. Don and Annie McCosh and Aurel and Marj Arm- strong have returned from two weeks' holidays in Florida. Recent visitors with Howard and Marj Thompson were Helen Stanley, Florence Nicholson and San- dra, Kay Thacker, and Mrs. Agnes Hodgins of Kinlough. The March meeting of Purple Grove Women's In- stitute was held Wednesday evening at the home of Maureen Collins. Gladys Ar- nold was the convenor. She told about the Tweedsmuir books and the history of Pur- ple Grove. Corinne and Bonnie Boyle of London, and Heather Boyle of Napanee spent the weekend with Francis and Irene Boyle. Sam Finnie of Dunnville also visited. Fran Farrell, Sandra Forster and Mary Ellen Rimmelzwaan attended a smocking course at the home of Judy Taylor, Kincardine on Tuesday evening. Best wishes go to Jack and Margo Middlekamp and family who have moved to their farm near Auburn. Happy 7th Birthday to Teresa Farrell. John and Joyce Farrell and family, Marj Reid and Gladys Mason were guests at Teresa's birthday party given Sunday evening by Don and Anne McCosh. Gordon and Mavis Van Horn were Thursday supper guests and Nancy Green- wood and family of Teeswater visited on the weekend with John and Joyce Farrell. Mrs. Foran, who graduated from nurses' training in Toronto In 1946, worked at the W Ingham hospital for a total of 20 years.
