West Wawanosh Township questioned its share of the capital cost of purchasing property tin build a new parking lot at the Lucknow Medical Centre. According to the municipalities of Lucknow, Kinloss and Ashfield the capital costs of the Medical Centre have been shared on a 25 per cent basis since the completion of the dental suite in 1978. There is no written agreement to this effect however, and West Wawanosh disputes the cost sharing, Prior to 1978 Lucknow paid 40 per cent of the capital costs and the other three municipalities paid 20 per cent each. Operating costs are still shared on this cost sharing basis.
