Stang of Red Deer, Alberta. Donald and Anne were married in Bethany Chapel in Calgary on Sept- ember 16th. Also attending the wedding was Rennie Graham of Toronto. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Clark and family were Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Smith and family of Goder- ich The auction sale held on Saturday for Mr. and Mrs. Herb McQuillin was a suc- cess and the weather was sure in their favour. Mrs. Henry Clark visited with her father, Mr. Middle- ton at Crystal Beach and besides going to Marineland they visited with cousins at St. Catharines. -. Friends and neighbours of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wall presented them with a frying pan .on the occasion of their moving into their new home in Lucknow. One morn- ing we appreciated our wood stove to heat the kitchen and prepare a hot breakfast. Mr. and Mrs. Len Cough- lin, Kelly, Kim and Karey of the 14th of Culross visited on Saturday with Mr. and Mrs.. Jim Springer and family. Pam Springer returned home with them till Sunday. Congratulations 'to Mr. and Mrs. Doug Ward on their baby daughter, Angela, winning second prize in the under 4 month category at the baby show at the Lucknow Fall Fair. The Whitechurch Presby- terian Young Peoples held their regular meeting at the manse on Sunday evening at 8 o'clock with the election of officers for this year. The Langside Cemetery meeting was held at the Whitechurch hall on Wed- nesday evening, September 27. This year the meeting usually held in June was delayed because of the illness of the secretary, Mrs. Valetta Emerson. The meet- ing was opened • by the president, Bill Evans.
