Mrs, Mary Boyle, Miss Joan Elliott and Mrs. Gwen Shoebottom of London spent the weekend with Misses Edna and May Boyle and on Sunda afternoon all five ladies visited with Dr.. and Mrs. R. Brooker of Bruce Beach. Sympathy isextended pa by to Mrs, Hazel Percy of Kincardine and formerly of Holyrood and her family in the sudden death of her husband, George. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Hodgins went to Detroit on Tuesday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Elroy Sieloff's mother, the late Mrs. DeCste, Coster, Friends here extend sympathy to Jeannette and Elroy and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott were guests at the 4 wedding of their nephew Jim Scott and Bernadette Keiffer on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Teeswater. A short program was. held with Bonnie MacLeod as M.C. Contests were played. A Reading by Mrs. Pete MacDonald and an in- strumental by Mrs. Isabel Ritchie were enjoyed. Tillie Witson in- troduced the bride and her attendants. Janet thanked the people for their lovely gifts and invited them to the home of her aunt, Mrs. Andrew Ritchie to view her gifts on Thur- sday, Sept. 14.
