Cows and bulls were higher on a good market. Replacement cattle traded uneven on a mixed quality. Al and A2 steers were selling for $62.50 - $64.50 with a high of $66.30. Al and A2 steers sold for $58. - $61.50 with a high of $63.10. Dl and D2 for $43 - $45. sold for $40 - sold for $37 went for $50 - cow's went D3 and D4 $43 and D5 - $43. Bulls $53. Local high sales were Lorne Hackett, R.R. 3, Lucknow, one heifer at 1,010 lbs. for $62.75; Bruce Colwell, R.R. 5, Lucknow, 28 steers averaging 1,190 for $64.60 and John Baks, R.R. 2 Teeswater, one cow, at 1,420 for $44.75.
