Total receipts at the Tor-

were cattle, 8,700; calves,
1,402; hogs, 6,100; sheep
and lambs, 1,489.

averaging 1,275 at $65.40;
Leo Foran, Lucknow sold 14
steers averaging 1,161 • for
$63.80 and Allan Gibson, R.
3 Lucknow sold nine steers
averaging 1,196' for $64.80.
Terry Dalton, R, 7t Lucknow
sold nine steers which aver-
aged 1,141 for $64.60. Norm
Bolt sold one cow at 1.200 for
$44.
Prices for western ' feed
grains at Goderich elevators
were western barley, $85.20;
western oats, $92.75 and
feed wheat, $114.95. Soy-
bean meal was sold for
$243.00 and corn went for
$97.80. Local grain was
selling for $70 - $75.
KINGSBRIDGE 4-H
The first meeting of Kings-
bridge 4-H was held on
September 2nd at Mrs.
Annie Andrew's at 9.45 a.m.
The club this year is
"Cooking with Metric" and
is called "Essential Edibl-
es".
In meeting one our club
made "Metric Crispy Gran-
ola" and everyone agreed
that it was good.
The meeting was called to
order by leaders, Mrs. Annie
Andrew and Mrs. Barb

of West Wawanosh. Light-
