Rev. Doug Kaufman offic- iated at the wedding. The bride, given in marri- age by her father, wore a long gown of polyester satin with lace trimming the empire waist, long sleeves and low rounded neckline. A train was gathered at the back of the dress and her veil was accented with lace to match that on the dress. She carried coral roses on a Bible. with coral rosebuds falling from ribbons. Kathy Weston, friend of the bride, St. Marys, was matronof honour. She wore a coral sleeveless gown with a cape of polyester satin. She carried. a wicker basket of silk and dried coral roses, white apple blossoms, .yellow dais- ies and white stephanotis. The bridesmaids were Kathy Robson, St. Marys and Brenda Hicks, .London, beth friends of the bride, Barb Congram, Prince Al- bert, Saskatchewan, and Rhonda Frank, Wingham, both cousins of the bride. They wore gowns and carried flowers similar to the matron of honour. Brenda Gibson and Scott Gibson, "cousins of the bride, R. R. 3 Lucknow, were flower girl and ring bearer. Groomsman was Paul Hicks, London, and ushering the guests were Brian Rivett, brother of the bride, St. Marys, Dave Baker, friend of the groom, London, Rick LeLacheur and Randy LeLa- cheur, brothers of the groom, both of London. Diane Gibson, Peggy Gib- son, and Christine Gibson, cousins of . the bride, sang The Lord's Prayer before the ceremony and You Light Up My Life, during the signing of the register, accompanied by the organist, Wilma Clark. At the reception which followed at the Lucknow and District Community. Centre, the bride's mother received guests wearing a blue poly- ester satin gown with sheer flowered overlay accented by a cumberbun and sheer blue cape. She wore a corsage of pink and blue rosebuds. She was assisted by the groom's mother who wore a Yellow polyester crepe gown featuring three tiers in the skirt. A corsage of yellow roses completed her ensem- ble. The bride changed to an ivory skirt and printed blouse in beige and brown for travelling on their honey- moon through Northern Ont- ario. The couple are residing in London where the groom is employed as a carpenter with John Hayman and Sons, and the bride is employed as a secretary at Pitts Life Insur- ance Company. STANLEY - DOMINICO Reverend P. J. Pace sol- emnized the wedding vows of Jo -Anne Dominico and Larry Robert Stanley onJune 3 in the Founder's Room of Pinewood Park Motor Inn, North Bay, Ontario. 180 guests attended the 6 p.m. ceremony and Shirley .:a Shisko provided the wedding music. Jo -Anne is the daughter of Rudy J. and Jeannette Dom- inico and Larry is the son of) Ezra. and Lulu Stanley of Lucknow. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory taffeta gown with chiffon overlay in nostalgic styling with lace inserts at the shoulders and through- out the skirt. The blouson sleeves were caught at the wrists with deep lace cuffs and the neckline was high- lighted by a Gibson -Tow: A chiffon .shoulder length veil was held by a floral lace headpiece encrusted with seed pearls. The bridal gown was crafted by Mrs: --J. G. Thomson, North Bay. Her colonial style bouquet featur- ed can -can sweetheart roses, white miniature carnations and baby's breath. Attending the bride was her cousins, Sherry Marcot- te, as maid of honour and Carol Martin and Cindy Stanley, niece of the groom, as bridesmaids. They wore soft yellow gowns of classic styling with matching chiffon overjack; ets. Yellow daisies adorned their hair and they carried nosegays of yellow daisies with baby's breath. Floyd Stanley, brother of the groom, was groomsman. Ushers were Robert Mac- Kenzie of Walkerton, friends of the groom, and Terry Dominico, brother of the bride. A• candlelight buffet and dance followed the cere- mony. The mother of the bride wore a cocktail length cocoa coloured chiffon gown with a yellow cyrnbidium orchid. The groom's motherwore a white and brown cocktail length dress with a white cymbidium orchid. On their departure for a wedding trip to England and Ireland, the bride chose a beige linen three piece suit and matching accessories and a corsage of can -can roses and baby's breath. Out of town guests attend- ed from Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Mississauga, Wind- sor, London, St. Catharines, Lucknow, Teeswater, Chat= ham, Kincardine, Ripley and Detroit. The bride and groom were especially pleased that the groom's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Kaake of Walkerton, could be present for their special day. They also received a telegram from Australia at the recep- tion from Sharon and Tony Bedford, sister of the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Stan- ley are residing at 121 University 'Avenue, #92, Waterloo, Ontario. 4-H: TRINITY # 1 Meeting five of the Trinity 1 Zippy Trinettes was held July 25 at Mrs. D. A. Hacketts. President, , Carol Ritchie, called the meeting to order. Patty Barger read the minutes of the last meeting. Home assignments were tak- en up. Books are to be handed in by August 1 for final checking. Mrs. Hackett discussed bringing garden records up to date, exhibiting quality vegetables and planning a vegetable display for Achievement Day. Mrs. Wilkins discussed .the demonstration for Achievement Day and can- ning tomatoes. The girls canned one pint of tomatoes and everyone is to can a jar of some vegetable for ,the Achievement Day display. IPM chairman CONTINUED FROM P. 6 Improvement Association was approached to help out with the new feature of the plowing match, Mr. Martin said. He was vice-president of the association at the time and headed a committee to investigate how the group could help with the match. Mr. Martin admitted that committee members "didn't have much background on plowing match affairs" but said that each one is enthus•--� iastic about IPM '78, which is about the only prerequisite for helping with the match.
