Mr. and Mrs. Jim Young,
Karen and Liane took a
motor trip up north last
weekend. They left Friday
morning and went as far as
- Collingwood. There they vis-
ited the scenic caves, then
went to see the blue moun-
tain pottery. In the evening
they went to Midland. Satur-

day morning they went to see
"The Martyr's Shrine" and
"Ste. Marie Among the
Hurons"; also "the Wye
Marsh Wildlife Centre". In
the afternoon they went on a
3 hour boat trip and saw the
Thousand Islands;. Sunday
they went to see the Stephen
Leacock home. Sunday after-
noon they returned home
leaving Karen at Beaverton
Camp where other band
members were camping for a
week. She returned home pn
Sunday. ok.
Mr. and Mr. Rick Jones
and Chris are staying at the
Kinloss farm home of her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robt.
Wynne, and are building a
home for themselves on the
former Jim Moffat farm,
across the road.
Ronald George has moved
to his Kinloss farm across the
road from Clifford Youngs.
He received his. transfer to
Walkerton from London. His
wife will remain in Strathroy
till the end of July.
Wendy Kay of Kitimat,
British Columbia, is visiting
with friends in Whitechurch.
Her father, Rev. Bev Kay,
was student minister at
Whitechurch and Langside
until last year when he
graduated and Harvey Os-
borne became student minis-
ter at Whitechurch.
Mr. and Mrs. Duncan
Moffat and daughter Carol of
Vancouver, are visiting relau
tives around this district and
attended the Moffat picnic
which was held at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Lorne peters
of near Kincardine. The fine
weather resulted in a good
crowd attending which made
a very enjoyable day.
Mr. and Mrs. Lennips,
Joanne, Jean, Henry, gvelyn
and Dorothy of Luc now,
visited on Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Bob Bregrnan and
family.
Joanne and Christine
Bregman both spent a week
at the Presbyterian Church
camp. Christine went last
week and Joanne the week
before. They both enjoy
camping. - )
