It's good to be home from
hospital again, • and a special
thanks to all those who were so
kind and generous with cards,
letters, flowers, gifts and a very
special thanks to all the neigh-
bours for food brought to the
house since my arrival home.

Visitors with Mrs. Gordon
Finlayson and boys were Mr. and
Mrs. Rod Finlayson and girls of
Sarnia.
Mrs. Hunter, who has been
residing with Mr. and Mrs. Robt.
McIntosh, is now at Pinecrest in
Lucknow, and I'm sure- will
welcome callers there.
John Martyn and Mrs. Isabelle
Martyn were recent visi or with
Mr. and Mrs. Ewan Mac
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Ma ' . nd
family. John has been residing in
Eastern Canada at St. Johns. /
Doris Wylds of Toronto and
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wylds of
Kincardine were week end visit-
ors with Dan Wylds and Mr. and
Mrs. Warren Wylds.
Rhoda MacKenzie is visiting
with Mr. and Mrs. Neil MacKen-
zie after seven trips to Florida this
past winter as tour escort with
Hanover Travel.
Sympathy is extended to rela-
tives of Carl Pollock of Kincard-
ine, who passed away suddenly in
Florida. Mr. Pollock was a
brother-in-law- of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank MacLennan.

High school students are quite
busy with lessons now that the
teacher's strike is settled.
Karen Young, a member of the
1st Holyrood Girl Guide Co. spent
Saturday at Camp Aneesh at
Owen Sound, training for her
Wilderness Campers badge. She
said the weather there was cold
and it snowed quite heavy
throughthe day.
We are sorry to report that
Jimmie Miller, son of Mr. and
Mrs: Allan Miller, is a patient in
Wingham Hospital. We hope he
will soon be well again.
Mrs. Elmer Scott, who is a
patient in K -W Hospital, Kitch-
ener, is ,much improved and
hopes to be home some day this
week.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Springer,
Leslie and Pam, spent the
weekend in Burlington and Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Springer attended
the wedding of ' a friend on
Wingham on Saturday where she
attended the District 8 Horticul-
tural Convention. -
Weekend visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Oliver McCharles were Mr.
and Mrs. Donald McCharles and
family of Chatham.
Mrs. Emile MacLennan, Flor=
erice and Sandy spent Sunday in
Stratford with Mr. and Mrs. Jack
MacLennan and Johnny.
George Richards of New Jersey
was a recent visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. George MacDonald and Mr.
and Mrs. Finlay MacDonald.

SHOOT PARTY
Fourteen tables made up the
shoot party. Alice Jefferson
doubled her luck with high lady
and also having the lucky cup.
June Robinson was second high
lady. Jim Coultes was' first for the
men and Roy Robinson was
second. Most shoots prize was
taken by Allan Miller: Annie
Gaunt won the lucky chair prize.
Following the games ice cream
and cake were served.
Mr. and Mrs. Shickluna`of Mis-
sissauga spent the weekend at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew
Gaunt.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turnbull
of Stratford and Mr. and Mrs.
Verdun DuCharme of Wingham
visited on Saturday with Mr. and
Mrs. Wayne Todd.
Gordon and Dorothy Maclntyre
were recent visitors at the- home
of Isabel Miller and --Helen Todd.
Saturday.
Langside Distributors held a
successful auction sale on Satur-
day. It was a cold day but a good
crowd was in attendance. Lang -
side Distributors are moving to a
new location in Fergus.
