The Bruins took 'a 4 2 victoryover�thei Ran ers`in the first

Blair Alton, Steve Fraytte,-Mike Frayne, and Brad Humphrey each
scored singles for the Bruins. Gerald Cook and Jim Van_Osch scored
for the -Rangers.
Mike Hayes scored a hat trick to lead the Red Wings to a 6 .- 2 win
over the Canadiens. Other Wing scorers were Mark Haldenby,
Perrin Dore, and Mark Gunter. Gerald Nevins and Kevin Lindsay
scored for the Canadiens.
. The Black Hawks were easily defeated because they had a very
poor turn out of players -,nine -boys. Your team really depends on all
.'the members coming to the'game. Ken Atkinson scored the Black
Hawk's single goal. The Leafs' 11 goals were scored by the
following boys Troy Ritchie with 3, Mike Whitcroft, Kevin
Machan,. and Brent van. Osch with two each, Ken Ritchie and Eddie
van Osch with single.

attended a tournament in Paisley
on Saturday, and wo'n, over
Mildmay 8 -3 in the first game.
They then met Hanover, and
played exceptionally well until the
last six minutes, when they, ran
ouT of steam againsta bigger,
stronger team. Final score, 6 - 2.
Scorers in the first game were
Kevin Boyle 3, Shawn Morrison
2, Mike . Nicholson 1, Larry
Coiling 1, and Terry Irwin 1. Both
goals in the Hanover game were
scored in .>the second period,
leaving the score tied. Terry Irwin
combined with Larry Colling,iand
Eric van 'der Glas took a pass from
Shawn. Morrison to . score the
other goal.
The Pee Wee "B" came aut on
the wrong end of a 7 - 0 'score
against Kincardine, played in
Ripley Thursday night. Keep
trying, guys. •
Seven was the unlucky number ,
Thursday night for- Ripley, as the
Bantams lost 7.,- 1 to Lucknow.

tried out their bowling skills at
the Lucknow Bowling Alley on
Thursday, December 29. After
the bowling fun, a get-together
was held at Mel Ritchie's place
(past president). The evening was
enjoyed by everyone.
The annual banquet. and dance
held on December 3rd was a.
success. Everyone ejoyed the
slide presentation on Australia
and New Zealand presented by
Dixie Cameron.
Susan Irvin recently attended. a
Communications Retreat in
Boyd's Conservation Area near
Toronto.
