McKay gave the Sailors a one -goal
margin at thirteen minutes of the
third period and duplicated his tally
just one minute later. Allison made

The local juvenile hockey league,

Club, opened with two gamea at the
West street rink on Seturday more -
tug. le the area game Walter West-
brook'. sextet trounced Terry Costel-
lo•s team to the tune of 8-3. The cap-
tain of the wizening team seemed to
be in a class by hinrself and figured
largely in the scoring. Costello and
Morley Bloomfield looked' to be the
best on tbe lo-ing team.
In the second game Con Baechier's
band fought Bruce Bloomfield's outfit
Both games were free of incidents
that might give rise to a penalty and
the youngsters played remarkably well,
even using combination at various
stages of the games. A small group
of spectators was on hand to watch
the Lions' proteges.
