The pre -Christmas
activities continue to be a
busy time for everyone.
The stores are all being
decorated making a beau-
tiful picture to walk
along the main street in
the evening.
The Ladies Auxiliary
of the Royal Canadian
Legion held their tea and
bake sale at the Legion
Hall on Saturday.
Saturday evening was
the annual Chamber of
Commerce dinner and
dance at the Community
Centre where local busi-
nesses can entertain their
employees.
After the morning ser-
vice in the Lucknow
United Church on
Sunday, the Christian
Education Committee
provided a soup and
sandwich lunch for all
the members of the con-
gregation. All the money
raised helps to send the
Sunday School pupils to
summer camp.

Stan, Pam,,.Alex and
Sarah Loree of Brampton
were home for part of the
weekend with Austin and
Mildred Loree.
There were eight
tables of shoot in play at
the Drop in Centre last
week with Elaine
Errington, Ruth Conley,
Ross Errington and Cliff
Menary having the high
scores. Vivian Hogan and
Erma Crich tied for the
most shoots.
The group adjourned
to the Anglican hall for a
Christmas supper.
