After all the snow last
week, Saturday turned
out to be a beautiful day
for all the activities in
Lucknow.
• There was a book sale
at Pinecrest Manor
Nursing Home, a very
successful luncheon and
bazaar at the Presbyterian
Church, as well as a large
crowd at the auction sale
at Archie Nicholson's.
Congratulations to
Albert and Catherine
Taylor who celebrated
their 55th wedding
anniversary on Tuesday
November 19.
Sympathy is extended
to the family and friends
of Henry Hartemink who
passed away in Wingliam
Hospital. on Monday.

of the death of Bernice
(Durnin) Sager, of
Hamilton (formerly of
the Crewe community).
Two of Mrs. Sager's
brothers, Alan and
Graham Durnin were
RCAF aircrew in World
War 11 and killed on
active service. Another
brother, Homer Durnin
died in Toronto in 1983
and a sister, Lorraine
MacHardy of Hamilton,
died in 1993. Lindsay
Durnin of Fenelon Falls
survives.
