Horticultural society holds banquet
Marion Zinn was the
guest speaker at the
annual banquet and meet-
ing of the Lucknow and
District Horticultural
Society on Friday night.
She showed slides, taken
during her travels, of var-
ious flowers found in dif-
ferent countries.
Entertainment was
also provided by Ira
Dickie, Don Robertson,
Jean Conley and Betty
O'Donnell.
The Beattie Ladder
trophy was presented to
Shirley Hackett for hav-
ing had the highest num-
ber of points at the May
Hower Show.

Association were brought

Lucknow, so appropriate
for our Scottish town.
