On Friday, the administrator met with employees to
explain the lay off notices. r
Pinecrest employs about 59 people in total: "hose`

dietary aids.

ments, to beat the fair this weekend. 7lie smoke
house imitates a house fire and Steer said it is an
excellent exhibit for children to view.

that they will quit col-
lecting education taxes
effective Jan. 1. It also
received a letter from Std
Edmunds Twp. objecting
to the 1.3 per cent tax
increase in the board's
1996 budget
It is council's opinion
that the ratepayers of
Bruce County cannot
afford to pay more taxes
in these difficult econom-
ic times," wrote clerk -
administrator Cathy
Robins, pointing out that
the township - and Bruce
County did not increase
taxes,
