At the July 2 meeting,
council agreedunani-
mously to increase the
cost for treasurer's tax
certificates regarding tax
arrears from $10: to $20.
Blyth Community '
Centre Board
In a cost saving move,
council has informed the
Blyth Community Centre
board that effective Dec
31, 1996, the rnunieipali-
intennds .to Withdraw
from the agreement, pur-
sttant to the terms of the
management and, opera•
tions of the board.
Nolan said letters were
sent earlier to the fami-
lies who use the Blyth
arena asking for their
input on council's cost
management idea. No
response was received, so
council proceeded.
In 1994 the the town-.
ship's requisition was
$4400 and in 1995 it was'
$3400.
Council recently
received a letter from the,
Blyth Community Centre
board asking for its opin:
ion on a solution of com-
pensating them for West
,Wawanosh players
attending that arena.
Council's reply was to
ask that any'players from
West Wawanosh be treat-
ed the same as those
from other municipalities
outside the arenas juris-
diction.
