Action
disrupt poo:
Dear editor;
This past weekend, on
Friday evening or early
Saturday morning, the
actions of few caused the
closing of the pool,.
The gate leading into
the pool was broken and
beer bottles were
smashed leaving debris
on the deck. The staff
had no option but to
close the pool for the
day, We apologize to the
community for this
senseless act of vandal-
ism. Fortunately, at this
time, it does not appear
that the liner has been
damaged. However, on
Loth of
things

Assessment
The implementation
by the province of a new
property tax assessment
system shouldn't impact
on Brucegcount-y or its
municipalities, says
Reavie, who is county
warden.
"There may be a little
equalization of taxes
where the businesses
might see a little less
taxation and a little more
shift to residential. But
as far as the dollars, it
isn't going to change."
g
Reavie said With the
county doing an assess-'
meat update min . 19926
"we're • more fortunate,
unlike Toronto where it
was back in the forties.
Bruce. County is'is pretty
good shape in that area."
