The Lucknow Branch
of the Arthritis Society
has been in existence
since 1970 when a local
lady. Lorna .Campbell
contacted the Society for
information. A represen-
tative from the Society,
came to .Lucknow and
thefirst chairperson of
the Lucknow Branch was
Lenore:. Tenn. She
recruited canvassers and
organized the town can-
vass for,the first time and
continued .to do it for
several years, .
In 1974, the Branch ..
r-• was reorganized and a
meeting was held at the
home of Hilda Ackert.
