taken up by Helen's broth-
ers and sisters; -Sharon,
Desmond, Michael, Ursula
and Edward. The church
was filled to capacity show-
ing the esteem people had ,
for Helen and Max. Mrs.
Jean -MacDonald, co -presi-
dent
of St. Joseph's CWL
delivered, the eulogy: Jean
commented on Helen's
courage during her illness in
which Helen attended two
weddings, bought birthday
gifts for her sons and
attended Confirmation for
tier daughter three weeks
ago. Helen was • a
Registered Nurse graduat- •
ing, from St.Mary's School of
Nursing, Kitchener, Class of
1972. Helen practiced her.
profession on a part-time
basis and had been working
toward her degree. Most .
recently the Anthropology
course Helen was complet-
ing took her to Southampton
to interview the Native
Indian people, the
.Kingsbridge- Choir,bid
farm/van at the graveside by
singing Edelweiss, one of
Helen's favorite songs..
Helen will be greatly trussed

District Horticultural
Society held its : June
Flower Show on Tuesday
last 'week.
Highlight was the Iris
exhibits with 44 entries
in nine classes. Peonies
were just coming in and
lipsins were another
strong class. Excellent
designs were also exhib-
ited. •
Another addition this
year was the . junior
- exhibit display of plant
propagation by 25 stu-
dents from the Grade 5
and Grade 6, classes at
Ripley District School:
The students were recog-
°sized with .a certificate of
participation and. 'a pack
of petunias. We are very'
